The NAPC annual conference 2012 has grown larger to reflect the growing importance of GPs in the future NHS. We have moved to a larger venue to allow us to cater for up to 1,000 delegates and we have made it free-to-attend for the majority of healthcare professionals. Our new venue enables the Conference to have all the content and exhibition area in one self-contained space. There will be a broader audience, extra streams covering a wider range of topics and a larger exhibition with 70 stands, showcasing the increasing number of organisations with an interest in the new NHS.
The conference will not only be a platform for debate on the key challenges facing the NHS in the immediate future but also a springboard for real, practical change in the way GPs and their partners think and work together as providers and commissioners of health care. It will be the event at attend this year to share ideas on how to implement Government reforms and to operate successfully within the new NHS. The message of this conference will be that the time for debating change is over, and the time for action has begun.
